Early bird or late bird? It doesn’t have to matter!
I know, they say the early bird gets the worm, but I saw a great Instagram post that made me giggle. And feel better about my own bird status. Spoiler alert: I’m not an early bird.
I’m not encouraging you to forget about college admissions deadlines or to slack on your application or materials. But I am here to tell you that if you didn’t apply on October 15th (or November 1st) that there are still TONS of opportunities for you!
Early action and early decision can be great decisions for some students. Do not fret if you are still working on your applications. Or GASP – even if you haven’t started yet. There’s still time to get accepted to a perfect fit school!
If you’re still figuring out your college list, search for schools with January 1 deadlines, regular decision options and those with rolling admissions. Schools with rolling admissions usually accept applications until their class is full and read applications and send acceptances as they receive applications.
And if you’re REALLY stuck, it might be time to call in the big guns and work with me! No matter where you are in the process, we can create a plan that works for you. Learn more about the options here.
So tell me, have you submitted your applications yet?
